Black Bear are plentiful around
the lodge and surrounding areas. With great feed and habitat, bear have survived well in this area.
With the bear hunt package,
your guide will transport you to one of our baited stands. Because of
heavily wooded areas and commercial apple orchards, bear hunting
is ample. Bear taken from this area typically range from 200-450 pounds.
Both rifle and bow hunts are available. There is a spring bear hunt season. Bear licences allow one bear per licence.
