Bird Hunting With the abundance of marshes and lakes, and the Saint John River, duck hunting is second to none. Black ducks, mallards, wood ducks, teal, broad bills, ring necks, and golden eyes are seen flying on any given day. With your professional guide setting you up for the day's hunt in a blind with decoys out, you will be in for a memorable hunt. All ducks are retrieved for you by your guide or one of our well trained labs. All birds are prepared for the freezer. Bag limit for ducks is six per day, three of which can be black ducks. Law states you are allowed twelve in your possession, six of which can be black ducks. In the duck hunting package, combined hunts are available. You can hunt grouse and woodcock in the afternoon, or maybe you would like to go fishing for small mouth bass and pickerel. No extra charge other than licence fees. Bag limit for woodcock is eight per day - sixteen in possession. Bag limit for grouse is six per day - twelve in possession. Woodcock and grouse packages alone are available. Trap shooting is also available to allow you to brush up on your wing shooting. 2010 Bird Season • woodcock
