Big Game
With the bear hunt package, your guide will transport you to to the baited stands. Because of heavily wooded areas and commercial apple orchards, bear hunting is ample. Bear taken from this area typically range from 200-450 pounds. Both rifle and bow hunts are available. Bear licences allow one bear per licence.
Three day moose hunts are available to nonresidents in late September, through a draw process. Information on this hunt and the draw is available by contacting us. Moose are plentiful and can range up to 1200 pounds. 35-45 inch racks are not uncommon. Moose can be hunted in stands overlooking marshland, meadows, or lakes in the back woods. Moose hunts provide one guide per hunter.
Deer hunting is done from stands, or, if you prefer, by walking through wooded areas where deer are found. We have stands deep in the woods and others close to the road. It is not uncommon for a deer to weigh 250 pounds (200 pounds field dressed and heavily antlered). Both rifle and bow hunting are available. Deer licences allow for the harvesting of one male deer with antlers visible.
